NACDL's mission is to lead diverse coalitions in identifying and correcting systemic racism, addressing flaws and injustices in the criminal justice system, and making sure that its members and other members of the criminal defense bar are fully prepared to represent all accused parties at the highest level.

NACDL’s Foundation for Criminal Justice (NFCJ)

NACDL’s Foundation for Criminal Justice is on the frontline of criminal legal reform. In-depth research on public defense-related topics, attempts to address inequalities within the criminal justice system, and resource access for defense attorneys are all supported by the NFCJ.

American Bar Association (ABA)

The ABA provides a variety of resources and services to its members, including continuing legal education, publications, networking opportunities, and advocacy on behalf of the legal profession and the justice system.

The State Bar of California

The principal goals of the State Bar of California's mission, which includes safeguarding the public, are the licensing, regulation, and punishment of attorneys; the promotion of the moral and professional practice of law; and the encouragement of initiatives aimed at enhancing legal accessibility and inclusivity.

California Attorneys for Criminal Justice (CACJ)

CACJ is a professional organization dedicated to defending the rights of individuals accused of crimes in California. It is a nonprofit organization that provides support, resources, and advocacy for criminal defense attorneys across the state.
